Prof. Muhammad Nasir is an associate Professor in Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, 1.5 Km defence road off Raiwind Road Lahore 54000, Punjab Pakistan.

报告简介:

Scientists are working on the use of sustainable ways to produce hydrogen. Research on hydrogen evolution is increasing now in the world and scientist are exploring new ways. Among them the most important method is the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from water splitting. This process generates hydrogen from water using sunlight in the presence of the catalyst. So my talk will include the significance of photocatalysis, use of nanomaterials and future of the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution.

Nanomaterials have also prominence in the biomedical materials fields such as rapid and detection of diseases and pathogens, angiogenesis and wound healing, antibacterial behaviors and cancer therapy etc.
